Ida and George had several children.  One of particular interest is CLARENCE BRITTON PENDLETON

CLARENCE was born on October 27th (or 17th) in 1896 and lived a long life - to 83 years of age - when he died on February 19, 1980 in Islesboro ME.(Source:  Maine Death Index; Certificate 8001665)

Clarence married Goldie E. Rolerson,  also of Islesboro, on March 31, 1928.  (Source: Maine Marriages, 1892-1996)

During his life he served in the military as shown by the following record from "Maine Military Men, 1917-1918"  Ancestry.com:

In the 1930 Census for Islesboro, Waldo County ME, he is listed with his wife, GOLDIE ROLERSON PENDLETON.  He was 32 per the Census and she was born about 1910

They are living on Hughes Point Road in Islesboro.  Each of them was born in Maine to Maine-born parents.  Note that they have a son, Earl G. who is an infant, 9 months of age.  This Census was taken on April 4, 1930, so Earl was born in 1929.  When Clarence and Goldie married he was 31 and she was 18 per the census, so they must have been married only a couple of years, perhaps around 1927 or so.  Clarence B.
